The Howard County Detention Center reported the following activity for March 24-28:

• MARIA CRUZ ALVEAR, 22, of 1502 Mesa Ave., was arrested on a charge of credit card or debit card abuse.

• JUSTIN CARL, 20, of 1002 S. Main St., was arrested on a charge of murder and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intentions.

• LUCINDA RAMIREZ FLORES, 38, of 1502 Mesa, was arrested on a charge of credit card or debit card abuse.

• MICHAEL JOSEPH MCNEW, 32, of 7805 N. Service Rd., was arrested on a charge of driving while license invalid with previous conviction.

• WILLIAM TERENCE MOORE, 57, of 514 Houghton Ave., Marlin, was arrested on charges of no driver's license when unlicensed and speeding-10 percent or more over the posted speed limit.

• ORLANDO SANCHEZ JR., 38, of 803 E. 20th St., was arrested on a charge of illegal dumping greater than 5

• MICHAEL DONAVAN BURCIAGA, 18, of 1106 Marijo Ave., was arrested on a charge of deadly conduct discharge of a firearm.

• TAYLOR EVAN CHENNAULT, 33, of 519 Clearwater Rd., Grand Saline,

was arrested on charges of solicitation prostitution/other pay and possession of a controlled substance PG 1/1-B less than 1 gram.

• ROBERT HAROLD JONES, 44, of 303 E. 6th St., was arrested on charges of expired registration and no driver's license when unlicensed.

• JUAN MENDOZA, 31, of 6501 Craig Rd., was arrested on a charge of assault family/household member impede breathing.

• DUSTIN RILEY, 33, of 1305 Barnes Ave., was arrested on charges of Fta/forgery of a financial instrument, forgery of a financial instrument, assault causes bodily injury family, theft of property greater than or equal to $100 but less than $750 and evading arrest detention.

• BLANCA CECILIA VARGAS, 46, of 201 N. Johnson, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass.
