Hoops, Dreams and Goals

March 31, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum, 1001 Birdwell Ln. Admission is free. Teams include Big Spring Heat, Monahans/pecos Warriors, Snyder Wyldcatz, Seminole Pink Panthers, Ballinger Longhorns, Abilene Bombers, Odessa Tigers, San Angelo Bobcats, Midland Panthers and the Sweetwater Red Rattlers.

Prom Closet

Fitting date March 31, 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. To book a private fitting call Eddi at 432213-5461. The Prom Closet is located at Ryan Hall, 605 N. Main St.

The Heritage Museum

March 29, 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Annual Meeting and Lecture with Ken Zoller - West Texas Photos. March 30 – April 25, Ken Zoller with Distant Horizon Photography. April 30 - May 31: Yearly Big Spring Art Association Judged Area-wide Show.

Easter Egg Hunt

Little Rafter Ranch and Stables is hosting a free event April 8 at their location 7605 N. Service Rd., Big Spring. Customers are encouraged to bring their cameras for photo opportunities with a special guest. A petting zoo will be available and egg hunts will be according to ages. 10 a.m.-6 and under. 10:30 a.m. 7 to 10 and 11 a.m. 11 and up. Pony rides are $5.

Old Sorehead Trade Days

Held in downtown Stanton will be April 15 and 16. Entertainment, arts and crafts, food vendors. For more information call 432-756-2006.

West Texas Baggers

West Texas Baggers will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament April 22 at The Howard County Fairbarn. Bags Fly at 1:30 p.m. so get there prior for registration. Drinks will be sold during the Tourney.

Howard County Fairbarn

Mark your Calendars West Texas. The South TX Homies will be making their first appearance in Big Spring at The Howard County Fairbarn April 22. Tickets and table reservations, plus more info coming soon. Pantoja and The Blue Diamonds will be opening up and DJ Nando will be mixing up the jams that night.

Summer Horse Camp 2023

Horseback riding, arts and crafts, water games, learning experience. Dates: June 5 to 9; June 19 to 23; July 10 to 14; and July 24 to 28. 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. $200 per student. $50 discount for 2 or more children. Twenty children per week limit. Deadline is May 1.
