“Generation Gap” (ABC — series premiere, July 7)

Kelly Ripa is host for this new comedy quiz show from mega-producer Mark Burnett (“Survivor”) and talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel. Each episode pairs teams of grandparents and grandkids, who are challenged to answer questions about pop culture shows, movies, music and personalities from each other’s generations.

“Say Yes to the Dress” (TLC — season premiere, July 9)

This blockbuster reality series celebrates 15 years of making the most cherished dreams of brides become a reality as host Randy Fenoli and the team at Kleinfeld Bridal return this summer. These seasoned professionals think they’ve seen everything by now, but this crystal anniversary season spotlights brides unlike any this team has run into before — including one altar-bound miss who books an appointment just hours after her guy pops the question. As for the entourages, viewers should brace themselves for hyper-opinionated mothers, scene-stealing sisters and even some fashionforward fathers.

“Who Do You Think You Are?” (NBC — series premiere, July 10)

Originally adapted by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky from a hit British series, this exploration of celebrity family trees enjoyed a run on NBC from 2010 to 2012 before making a move to cable for subsequent seasons. Now, however, the program returns to its original network home base in this reboot, which once again will feature genealogists, historians and other experts helping stars untangle their personal roots. Featured stars this season include Allison Janney, Nick Offerman, Zachary Levi,

Billy Porter, Bradley Whitford and Zachary Quinto.
