Angie Smith

Angie Smith, 56, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Angie was born on Jan. 1, 1965, in Rotan to Verna and Curtis Smith. She grew up in Coahoma and graduated from Coahoma High School, and returned to Coahoma in 2003. She was of Christian faith.

Angie attended Wayland Baptist University and received her degree in commercial art in Waco. She lived several years in Sherman and then Lubbock, having worked as commercial artist.

Angie is survived by her daughter, Cheyanne Smith of Big Spring; her mother, Verna Smith of Amarillo; two sisters, Vanita Woolsey (Larry) of Amarillo and Annette Henry (Jackie) of Coahoma; one brother, David Smith of Odessa; and five nieces and nephews.

Angie was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Smith.
